WP-450i-CAT is a big and capacious hybrid of a cataplana and a wok. With a domed lid, it works just like a traditional cataplana. GrillSymbol cataplanas don’t come with a clamp on the lid, so the pan can be used for different purposes. It can be used on different gas burners with the optimal size of 30-35 cm.
The deep, thick-bottomed (3 mm) stainless steel pan with a light aluminium lid works like a cataplana, and like a wok without a lid. Thanks to its curved shape, it can be used to prepare a wide variety of foods, from Mediterranean to Japanese cuisine. The round shape allows the pan to be used as a deep fryer for churros, buñuelos, tempura, spring rolls, etc. Various soups can also be made in it.
