Description
The outdoor wood burning fireplace is made of Cor-Ten steel, which is almost pure carbon steel but processed to have a protective layer on the surface to make it weather-proof. The surface is originally greyish, due the weather conditions it turns reddish-brown (resembles the colour of rusting), which becomes darker within time. If used properly, Cor-Ten steel is expressive, durable and maintenance-free and can stand the time in its own peculiar way.
The word “Chiaro” actually means “clear” or “light”. Let light into your garden and convert a dark evening into a pleasant come-together!

The product must not be installed on a wooden surface as the fire pit will become hot from the bottom during the fire. There are holes in the bottom of the fire pit from which small pieces of coal can fall out. The holes in the bottom act as drainage holes to prevent standing water from accumulating inside the fire pit.
NB! Cor-Ten steel products are delivered untreated. When brand new, COR-TEN® steel is gray in color like usual hot-rolled steel. You can find seasoning instructions on our website or you can scan directly from the product. Cor-Ten steel products can be stored outdoors all year round. Does not require storage.
