WP-545i-CAT is a big and capacious hybrid of a cataplana and a wok. With a domed lid, it works just like a traditional cataplana. GrillSymbol cataplanas don’t come with a clamp on the lid, so the pan can be used for different purposes. It can be used on different gas burners with the optimal size of 40 cm.
The deep, thick-bottomed (3 mm) stainless steel pan with a light aluminium lid works like a cataplana, and like a wok without a lid. Thanks to its curved shape, it can be used to prepare a wide variety of foods, from Mediterranean to Japanese cuisine. The round shape allows the pan to be used as a deep fryer for churros, buñuelos, tempura, spring rolls, etc. Various soups can also be made in it.
